an app that controls a physical camper
honda made comfort camping affordable. the app made it accessible.
the amenities that make camping comfortable have always priced families out. base station is honda's answer: a modular smart camper, light enough for an ordinary car to tow, with expandable modules and accessories, controlled by an app.
the app is not a companion to the product. it is the interface the product was designed around.
revealed to the public in january 2026

honda unveiled base station january 14, 2026. it opens a category honda has never sold into: a camper light enough to tow with the car you already own. the camper is completing production along with the mvp app and interior screens.
